    Re: Dodge Challenger

I saw it in a mag last night. Now that's a car worth buying from Dodge. It doesn't look like *** like 300 or charger.

That is a very nice looking car. It looks just like the old muscle cars, only with all new technology, very nice.

You're in the wrong boat then...

Kinda ***** that the Challenger will be an underpowerd 4100 lb pig like the rest of the LX series... have fun with your rebodied 300C / Charger buddy and tell me how 5th gen taillights look.

For the record I think the Detroit concept looks great... agressive front; mean, muscular looking rear quarters (can refer to them as "haunches" once again); cowl hood = sick... and IRS combined with the increased wheelbase will mean awesome handling (won't have the problem that 02-04 Cobras ahd at the track, GM has a much better/more durable IRS system ready to go into the Zeta cars).

What I don't like: obviously the mirrors are not likely to pass DOT approval in their current state. Also the 21 inch wheels up front and 22 out back are way too big... that's probably just for the show car anyway though. Also I think the guages need a little more work, and not sure how keen I am on the center console guages for fuel, temp, oil PSI and voltage.

oh and by the way... taking retro CUES is good... taking a 35 year old car and updating it to make it pass DOT standards and throwing an oh my god HEMI!!!!! into it is half-assed queerness

    Chevy > all
