Alot of fun to drive, all orig interior and exterior (minus wheels). I like to keep it simple, it must be totally streetable or I dont want it. I will go to the track after winter to bust some low 10's. Here is a pic of the engine when I was putting it together.
    Details on the motor... turbo,rods,crank,manifold..etc...

    Who did your tranny? Cotton?

I dont buy anything from Cotton, nor does he build trans/motors. My friend Otto built the trans, RPE built the bottom end with steel mains. 70GTQ,GN1's ported with rollers. roller cam, PTE fm, ATI NL,THDP, ALky, FAST. I sjut realized you have a gn to, haha

Cotton builds motors...trans Im not too familiar w/. But Cotton does build motors, In GMHTP he is doing a 10 sec GN buildup.

What alk kit? Are you having trouble w/ the GN1's lifting? Whats the TC stall?

Are you talking about Otto that just won 2nd at GS nats this year? He's over on tb.com

Why didnt you build your own motor?

Cotton does not build motors, RPE builds them for him, RPE also builds his race stage 2 motor in the orange car. Yes same Otto you are thinking of, great guy and honest. I have razors kit, I love it. 3500 stall. I didnt build it becuase I dont trust the shops in NY to prep and align gone. I dont have the tools nor the knowledge. One day i will though I got enough freaking crap going on!

When I meant build motors, I meant his shop still contracts them out. Most people just go to him for the "package" type stuff. I haven't heard much of RPE, but then again I havent been deep into Buick stuff for about 6 months or so. Hows the NLU 3500 work for the street?

Rebuilding it isn't hard, but when you get to the technical stuff... degreeing a cam, all that..then I have no clue what is going on.

Either way, I'd still take a Duttweiler motor over my old PO anyday of the week.

    Duck power> me

Oh yeah, very easy the only draw back is the remote, jezzzzz, that thing is fugly. Also cops around here (sometimes) give you tickets if you are driving with the flip open, that`s another reason why i got the smaller lcd screen.Ohhhhhhh, did i mention is detachable.

Here's my daily driver but its under construction right now, getting the back seat stuffed with a new custom system setup.
