Mine is. 400 horse at the flywheel. GT40 Cobra Engine.


A few years down the road, that may change though.......

I've got my eye on two engines to replace that one:

A Paxton Novi 2000 Supercharged 306

or

A Roush Performance 342 N/A


Both options will likely set me back near 10 grand on the engine alone, not counting the necessary drivetrain mods that will need to take place.

I'm leaning towards the Blown 306 backed by a Tremec 6 spd, Aluminim Driveshaft, and my Posi 8.8 rear with 3:27 gears.

We'll see what happens with a few years!

I do like my N/A Engines though!

There is no replacement for displacement.
You could always pick up one of those turbocharger simulators and stick it on your exhaust pipe

You could buy a used shortblock and the novi for round 5k. Are you talking forged here?

Why not just drop an LS1 in it, afterall, thats the only way to make a ford go fast.

marley and i were actually talking about that a couple days ago
i've heard of a guy putting 2 massive turbos on a kinda gutless small block, the engine didnt even have enough power to spool up the turbos so he stuck a supercharger on it to spool them up

hmmm, so it might be possible, the only prob i could think of is the compressed air from the trubo might be too much psi for the supercharger...but i dunno i really have no concept of superchargers nor turbos, it just sorta popped in my head
