Got preliminary testing done...

With the new crossfires.

We measured each to put out 3254w at 1 ohm at 11v!!!! WOW

With only 1 kinetik I dropped from 12.9v to 11.4

147.4 legal, 149.2 in the kick, all on the termlab

We didnt mess with anything, just threw the subs and amps in, and burped it a couple times.

The toughest person I am going up against this sunday hit a 148 in the kick, with 2 zapco 9.0s and 2 12" MTs in a 4runner, which is a much better spl car then a civic coupe. Install is everything.

These amps are awesome. I wish I could get the 4000ds.

hehe... you say that.... but I'd take a trunk car over a 4 runner any day of the week...

with a 4 runner, you're stuck playing 41-48 hz..... well... if you're playing 50-60, you're in trouble.. cause there's a nasty vehicle induced dip there...

he's got plenty of space but.... he's also got a thin shelled vehicle, that moves in ways it shouldn't, and funky acoustics a deaf person would laugh at...

go look at the results of the Great 8 challenge..... we used a 4 runner for output testing.. that screams volumes about how nasty it is...

I was going to SVR, but my promotion killed that idea... I'll be working that weekend..

and yeah, mic placement is important, as stated up there by Mr fanatic

I can affect my score by .5 db by a movement of 8 inches of the mic..
