    How much of a difference is there between AudioControl Mic and TermLab?

    Theres a competition coming up and Im competeing and I was just wondering how much of a difference there was between the two.



    Ride: 2001 Ford Ranger
    Color: Red
    Head Unit: Kenwood 52x4
    Speaker Amp: JL Audio e4300
    Front Speakers: Kicker 4x6
    Rear Speakers: Stock
    Sub Amp: Bostwick 1100 (1100 RMS @ 1ohm)
    Subs : (2) Kicker CVR 15's
    Enclosure: 4.3 Cubes per chamber tuned o 32hz
    AudioControl - 145.9 dB
    TermLab Mic - 145.6, 146.0, 142.5(mic was messed up)

    I did pretty good on TermLab with my setup. I think so anyways. But Im just trying to figure up how much oif a difference there is so I can maybe hit a lil higher

    The one we have around here is 3dB give or take a few tenths, depends on the day.

    depends on what AC it is..

    newer ones are usually 1 - 3.5 higher..

    old AC's can be anywhere from 5-12 db or more..

    Im hoping to break 140dB. If the mic is an older mic, then my possibilities are pretty good. But if its a newer mic, then my chances are so so.
