Blah lol... lucky to get into the 150s lol. New Termlab sensor, MAybe a 150, Old TL mics, 158ish. Put it this way.. your oging to need a whole lot of power to get into the 60s pro. Shoot for the 150s and you'll be good, which is even doubtful too.Originally Posted by aphinney

Too many variables. Install is very, very important.....not just how much power you're throwin' at it.Originally Posted by aphinney

I know a guy with 4 15s and 10kw doin 155.5-155.6db, so you doin 160s with one 18 and half the power isnt going to be happening unless your an acustical genius. Id say high 40s low low 50s.Originally Posted by aphinney

It also varies depending on what organization and what mic. 160 is quite hard on the termlab.net on the dash. I am doing a 163 with many years experience, 16 MTX 1501's and 4 RE MT 18's. But depending on the mic and where its going its possible to do a 160 yes.

No we are not saying that but your chances of doing it are better.

Last weekend our city had a car show, and a guy brought his van and did 162.7 or something like that....
http://www.hot1079online.com/gallery...s/DSC01780.jpg
I didnt exactly catch what subs he had in there or how many amps but i know he had 3 18"'s that was about all i got other then the frontside of my body getting the shyt rattled out of it when he turned that bytch on... i dont quite remember what kind of mic they used although i thought it was termlab, but the mic was on the dash also.
back at it...
That would be a buddy of mine, Chris. Chris Norris! He owns CN Sounds. He was using 3 CN Sounds 18's. And that score should have been on the termlab!

to get a 10 dB increase you need 10 times the power....

when i was at my first and only DB Drag a guy had 4 18" Dr Crankenstines(sp) in his mazda truck. I remember hearing that he gained 1 more dB with 3 instead of 4. That boggles my mind![]()
