Box: 4.5 cu. ft tuned to 35hz
    Mic: Termlab
    Song: 48 Hz Test Tone
    db score: 145.6db

score was achieved with a weakened battery as well. Definately was louder a few days prior to termlab metering, but my brace had split, causing box to flex like crazy.

compared with termlab, and after thorough testing, we found this meter to come within .1db-.3db of the Termlab every single time. Also i put my system on this meter b4 i had the box/battery issues and hit 147.3db, which would be about a 147 on the termlab.

    Re: Your db Numbers!

First real system since 1989 and don't think I did that bad for an old guy with a pair of cvr's in a box that doesn't require modification to the rear seat.
Met a great guy at one of the mobile one autosound stores in Houston that has a termlab mic and let me and my buddy use it to test and tune for a while.

    Sorry for the huge pic.

    Vehicle: 2007 EX-CAB Silverado

    Subwoofer(s): 2 kicker cvr 12's
Box: 1.31 ft^3 per sub sealed, firing up

Song/Tone Played: a little jon track loaned by friend. Around 44 to 48 hz produced best result

Blah, I need to actually build a box with more port area and get the note up about 10hz.

    However, 27hz is disgusting
