    Re: Your db Numbers!

Vehicle: 97 Camaro Convertible <--(key word here)
Electrical System: Stock 140 amp alt, magic 3
    Amplifier(s): Hifonics BX1500D at 1.2 ohms
    Subwoofer(s): 1 12" RE XXX
Box: 3.5 cubes (around 2.2 after port) supposed to be tuned to 32, but the port bends too soon so its tuned around 37-40
    Mic: New Termlab USB
    Song/Tone Played: I think a 47 hz test tone
db Result: 137.7 on dash, 147.3 in trunk with top down

Not too shabby for a vert. I want to get it metered with my new amp (Planet Audio TT2250D) as soon as Jamie gets his laptop fixed.

    Vehicle: 1995 Chevy Lumina
Electrical System: Stock Alt. 108 Amp..... stock Batt
    Amplifier(s): Hifonics BX1000D at 1 ohms
    Subwoofer(s): 15" SX
    Box: Tuned to 33hz
Mic: Audio Control (or something I forgot the name of it... was a new mic though)
    Song/Tone Played: Sweep
    db Result: 138.4 on dash.

Since then new updates: Changed my RCA wires to nice nice ones.. improved sq and SPL and thenI installed Dynamat Xtreme... and that right there i could HEAR and FEEL a total differnce... even SEE a totall differnce of how things moved when my car hit and how i can see all my mirrors move WAY more......so im guessing im easily in the 140's now.. but i could be wrong...

Doors and windows were closed, and the box was not quite finished. Either way i think it's a pretty d*mn good score. At the competition i reamed some guy with 4 12"s that only did a 141.
