You arent going to get an answer to this because there are too many variables. What fz does your box peak at, what about your vehicle, where is your impedance rise at that frequency? The best way is to check the what frequency is my song thread and try different fz while metering and pick what is the loudest. There is never a single answer to getting loud, its always test, test, test.

Re: best song for street beat

I will sweep my truck soon, but I am competing saturday and looking for something quick. The truck is a 2003 silverado ext. cab if that gives any ideas. I still haven't built my box. I can design the box with a bump at whatever frequency I want.

    hmmm extended cab truck.

Build you a box tuned in the mid 40s...go get DJ Magic Mike's CD "bass the final Frontier"

Play: This ones for the bass heads

that should work...assuming you are going to Texas Heatwave? There shouldn't be any big hitters showing up in SB1 (that I know of?) I havent competed in a few months so I dont know...

Yes, heat wave. If I go sb1, I will be running 2 stroker 10's off 6000 watts with a 200 amp alt and 4 batteries. If I go sb3, I will be running 6 old school cadence shockwave 10's on 3600 watts. Which should I do??
