MECA comp today PICS 172 DB on TL

well the MECA event was today, and it was my first time competing.
i met another CA member there, i think his user is cartronics.
he took home alot of trophies.
i was in street 3 and took first place 140.0 on TL metered at headrest.

but danny hays wasn't there but his dad brought the 1950 modle chevy pannel wagon.
he did a 172.4 and i got some pics of it since it's the second loudest in the USA

this thing is very uneak for an SPL vehicle, looks super kool, and has 2" lexan windows. when he burped 172 you could bearly hear it out side of the vehicle.

his amps and about 400 pounds of 0 gauge wire and 26 kinetik batteries

a random blazer that looked nice.

for my first event it was a blast even it was my first event, and i got $20 for first place in a filled class.
i also got a medal for PHAT INSTALL

holy **** thats loud. what amps are those?

i don't know but he's listed on kinetiks and usaic web site in 06 records
he's done a 174

umm those arent just "sealed boxes" pretty sure thats part of a 4th order bandpass ;)

could be i didn't see any port, but i was impressed for 2 15's
scott owens is the only louder in the US and he just broke 180 on TL

and just b/c u didnt see a port doestn make it a sealed box...

its a 4th order bandpass :)

headrest measurement levels the playing field. :)

At least I think so.

Wish I could have made it down for the show, it was hosted by a pair of my teammates (stacy and angela adams). But a 6 hour drive and no money held me back. :(

by god you're right, it was announced as second loudest in US but looked at uscia site and there is some louder.


also stacy is who has been metering and tuning my car for the show.
only person i know with a TL

him and his wife are some great people
