Cleaning out the garage, no I mean it this time.

In the process of cleaning out my garage and getting rid of all the stuff that I have that I don't need anymore. I was saving a ton of stuff for the next car (14 way front stage, 4K watts on each tweeter, etc.) and I've instead decided to get a nice car with an OK stereo instead of the other way around. Part of the deal with the wife was that I would get rid of stuff, give it away if I have to make room to park it and pay for it.

Please note, I don't have a drug habit, a mortgage on a house I can't afford, or creditors calling me at all hours of the night. I'm motivated, not crazy but obviously I'm open to reasonable offers. If you found something on sale and the street price seems to be out of line with what I'm asking, feel free to PM me (heck, even if you aren't interested, I would appreciate the help in getting my prices in line). Pricing does not include shipping and assumes payment by money order (other methods can be discussed by PM). Nothing against people in the rest of the world, but will only ship to customers in the US unless you can provide some really good references.

I have tons of feedback, 300+ on ebay, dozens here.

Re: Cleaning out the garage, no I mean it this time.

    Precision Power Amplifiers

    D3000/1
I had this in my Nissan then I got a station wagon and I am going with a stealthbox so this is overkill. OK shape, still have the box and badge (didn't put the bad on it because the Nissan was never really finished).
    • 3000W Class D Monoblock Amplifier
    • RMS Power Rating:
      • 4 ohms: 495 watts x 1 chan.
      • 2 ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan.
      • 1 ohm: 1475 watts x 1 chan.

Street price seems to be around $350, asking $225 OBO.
    More details here:
Precision Power PPI D3000/1 (ppi-d30001) Mono Subwoofer Amps Car Amplifiers Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix

This was also in the Nissan, had it running biamped to some Polk Audio SR components (yeah, overkill but I got it basically because its the same size as the amp above).
    • 1200 watt 4-Channel Amplifier
    • RMS Power Rating:
      • 4 ohms: 110 watts x 4 chan.
      • 2 ohms: 140 watts x 4 chan.
      • 4 ohms bridged: 280 watts x 2 chan.

Re: Cleaning out the garage, no I mean it this time.

    Polk Audio SR124DVC 12" Subwoofer
A top of the line subwoofer, very nice, getting a stealthbox for the new car, so I'm not going to deal with the sub. Retail is $400, it is NIB and I'm asking $175 OBO.
    Some specs:
    • 700 Watts of CONTINOUS power-handling capability! Seriously.
    • 2.5-inch glass/epoxy Voice Coil Former, wound with four layers of heavy-gauge high-temperature aluminum wire, provides the highest level of reliable power-handling.
    • Vented Voice Coil, Pole Piece and Basket to more reliably cool high power output in competition situations.
    • Massive Die-Cast Aluminum Basket housing a 16-pound motor structure.
    • Specially designed curved vanes in the Subwoofer Basket conduct the massive airflow, preventing turbulence and nixing any noise or "chuffing."
    • Super tough NBR (Nitrile Butyl Rubber) Surround damps distortion-inducing resonance and stands up to harsh automotive environments.
    • Stiff ABS Cones employ catenary geometry, identical to the graph of a hyperbolic cosine, for... Wait a sec. Scan backwards. "Catenary geometry"? "Hyperbolic cosine"? Far as I can tell with my limited knowledge of anything (except how loud this @$£*&%! is), catenary geometry and the hyperbolic cosine describe a curve with a deep, deep low dip; like a mad smile. Suffice to say, it means that engineers got their grubby hands all over these cones and designed them to be so stiff that they damp any distortion that might want to "cosine" anywhere near your deep bass. Enough math! More volume!
    • Dynamic Balance Technology, using full-field laser imaging. Dynamic Balance enables Polk engineers are to discover previously hidden distortions on moving drivers. When they see it, they fix it. (You can watch cool little animated laser interferometry images of speakers doing bad things HERE.) You benefit because Dynamic Balance technology designs these performance-robbing resonances right out of Polk Audio drivers. The result is a distortion-free sound that's smooth and effortless, even at competition-level volume.
    • Cone construction is optimized with the Klippel Distortion Analyzer, which uses laser technology to better control driver behavior under high output. It maximizes linearity, minimizes distortion, and flattens and extends frequency response.
    • Dual Spiders tightly control the Cone's long excursion for the ultimate in tight, detailed, musical bass.
    • 12" Dual 4-Ohm Voice Coil configuration.
    • Professional Hex-Key Terminals (and a nifty 2.5mm Allen Key, included) can accommodate thick 8-gauge wire.
    • Optimized for performance in a small sealed enclosure (or a larger vented enclosure), and designed for easy installation.

    • Includes a 300 amp fuse and all the installation accessories
    Package Includes:

    4. Fuse Holder
    5. 300A ANL Fuse
    6. 2 Distribution Blocks
    7. 5 Ft. 4 AWG Power Wire
    8. 5 Ft. 4 AWG Ground Wire
    9. Self-Adhesive Kicker Logo Badge Included!

Streetwires Wire. 1/0, 17' Asking $25 OBO. One continuous piece, just has loom for under the hood and places in passenger compartment where it could rub against metal.

    Bazooka Tube BT1024DVC 10" Tube

Didn't take pictures of this. On a scale of 1 to 10 its probably a 6 cosmetically. A great sub to have while you are getting other parts of your car worked on (it's not going to shake your fillings loose, but it's still not so bad). Asking $60 OBO.

    Here are some specs:
    # 10" dual 4-ohm voice coil woofer
    # mounting straps and hardware included
    # 5-way binding posts
    # frequency response: 39-1,000 Hz
    # power handling: 12-500 watts RMS (250 per voice coil)
    # sensitivity: 104 dB
    # 10-3/8"W x 21-9/16"L x 12-1/2"H

    Varad LED Scanner VS450RE (Red)

    Kicker neon wall clock.
This is brand new (hooked up to make sure it was working, has a battery for the watch part, the neon part plugs into the wall). The color is closer to red than orange, the white balance on the camera makes it look funny. Asking $40.

The car was the invitation they sent out to the Big Air Bash (think X games with guys jumping motorcycles, snowmobiles, you name it) at SEMA 2006. This thing is in mint condition. Asking $10

    Fishman Fish Fabric.
This is Thick, Stretchable fleece for making kickpanels, enclosures, etc. This is much thicker than the stuff you find at the fabric store and was what Fishman would use on his installs. It's 5 yards long X 45" wide. Am selling it all together (will not cut to size).

Asking $20 for the 5 yard bag and $13 for the 3 yard bag.

    Fishman Fiberglass Mat
This is 3 yards x 50" wide of Woven Roving Fibergalss mat. I have 3 packages, so 9 yards. Asking $10 OBO each package. Brand new in the bag as you can tell. Typically this stuff runs about $5 to $6 a yard.

Fishman Fiberglass Mat. This looks to be just as wide as the other one (50") by 5 yards. Asking $10 each OBO as well, I have 3 packages of this.

    Dynamat TacMat
Not sure why they discontinued this, but I have a brand new 12 square foot box as well as another box that I have used some of (I'll have to measure it) Asking $35 OBO for the new box, $3 a square foot for the other box once I measure it.
