Trunk Enclosure Build for 2 Sundown X 10's

Well this is my box build for my new sundown x 10's I know it's not without it's flaws especially the front baffle but overall I'm satisfied with the end results. I appreciate any and all constructive criticism. Eventually I plan on trying a sixth order but for now this is what I got. Anyways onto the pictures and ish.

Sketched up specs out to 3.33ft^3 net with a 30Hz tune while expecting the kerf to raise tuning slightly.

    Next to an Fi Bl

This was all I got done the first night.

This was part of the second day got it all cut and laminated and then not paying attention to what I was doing like an idiot I broke it so I rage quit.

Attempt number 2 at the front baffle luckily I have lots of extra wood.

All 45'd and ready to rock I have limited working space as you can see.

Filling in the holes I used some elmers wood filler that worked surprisingly well. Also on a side note cut the holes out before attaching the front baffle when you're making smaller boxes because you won't have room for a jasper jig to cut through a double baffle mega facepalm.

    Paint layer one.

    Layer number 2.

Looking good! I may be going with a pair of X12s in a 4th order in my trunk on about 3k... Still kind of undecided.

Love them loudest and lowest setup I have had to date before this I ran a 9515 and then 2 SA-12's on a SAZ-1500 they provide bass you can feel in your chest and throat they sound good on decaf as well I had intended to turn this box into a trunk wall but I haven't decided yet.

Thanks kerfs really aren't that difficult in my opinion all you have to do is make sure you don't set your saw blade too deep and the closer you cut the tighter you can get your kerf I generally just do every half inch with a circular saw.

Re: Trunk Enclosure Build for 2 Sundown X 10's

Alright guys I attempted to take a vid this evening but the iPhone 4 camera is about worthless or it isn't that loud and I'm just a wuss but I blame the iPhone since I hate it it didn't pick up any of the noticeable flex or the headliner movement at all and I don't know what else I could try doing to display how nice it is or how loud I think it is.
