I'm building an enclosure for a JL Audio 13W7.
Going in a Cadillac CTS powered by a Sundown SAZ-1500
Designed by PWK.
Built out of 3/4" white melamine.

nice clean box...i was worried when i read melamine because i thought it only came in shyt particle board but i guess i was wrong....so i guess you will be wiring it to 0.75ohm?

Looks excellent as always man. I'd have you build my next one but pro-rabbit is local and he's a good dude and has done right by me. Otherwise you'd be my next choice.

Thanks, yeah I think he's wiring it down.
Melamine is hard to find in MDF unless you buy a whole unit(50 sheets)...Our supply house sells the white by the sheet though..$39

why not put the white on the outside? and is melamine like laminated mdf or something?

That's what the customer wanted...he's gonna bedliner the outside....the white side is pretty slick...he's thinking air will travel better.
I made the inside of my box with melamine, but I have a lexan window and a huge aero port.
