Hey guys..this is my first thread here so I decided to kick it off with slideshow of my first box build. It was for a RE XXX 12 (05) and I sold it a little while ago....man it was hard to let go of my first born lol. I regret selling it now but here is the retrospective of its birth...

Those ports look fairly small, what was it tuned to? How'd it sound to you? Good looking box though for sure.

well the box called for a 2" port tuned to 34hrz and im OCD for symmetry so i went with two 1 inch ports....i was also worried about port noise but it turned out awesome suprisingly...the dude i sold it too also had the same reservations about the narrow port but he had the same reaction i did so it worked out pretty well

Very nice work, but the height to width ratio on that port is too high. May well sound good, but at high power it definitely won't behave as predicted and it is not optimum.

You may be right but as of now the current owner is right around 1000rms on the xxx....even though its underpowered it sounds very clean and as long as hes happy thats all that matters

Btw... Box is about 2.3 cubed each port opening is 1x14
