2005 F150 4x4 Awesome Daily Driver Build

Suspension:6" Rough Country Suspension w/ custom Bilstein struts (about 8" lift)

Wheels:22x11" Machined XD Diesel Wheels -25mm offset

Tires: 325/50r22 Trail Grapplers 35"x13"r22

Perfomance: Edge Evolution, Long tube headers/custom exhaust coming soon!

Cosmetic: 5% Tint, Custom black/grey red stitched leather seats, Smittybilt Light bar with 4 6" offroad lights, N-fab Step Bars, custom Q45 projector retrofit with Flashtech colorshift halos.

First sound system hold back the lulz:
Pioneer AVH-4300DVD, Kicker KS68s powered by 1100w 4 channel Audiofonics Amp, 2 Rockford Fosgate R2D4-10s in a prefab box powered with a Rockford Fosgate P400.2

What I'm working on now:
Keeping the H/U the kickers doors are staying for right now but not for long.

Keep in mind I'm still learning car audio an after reading up on the hifonics amplifiers I'll be switching that to a AQ or Sundown:

Ported center console with 4 10" RE Audio SRX-10s on a Hifonics BRZ1200.1

Fiberglass Door panels:
Front doors will get 4 6.5" Soundstream with one Crescendo FT-1 tweeter each
Back doors will get a single 8" Soundstream with one Crescendo FT-1 tweeter each

Pictures after I bought the truck in March of 2011:






I always had plans for lift wheels and tires so the first thing I did was upgrade the brakes

Original Sound equipment, to be honest I had this set up for about 3 months before I started plans for this console.

Soundstreams for the front doors and the 4 Subwoofers, the build actually went into hold at this point for a little while shops either didn't want to do it or wanted to charge all kinds of money. I'm a do it yourself kind of guy but I had absolutely no idea about car audio, almost sold all the equipment.



So while the build was on hold I built these bad boys, one of my favorite features on the truck:

of course me not knowing much about car audio and really wanting to do this build I started doing research and pretty much came out empty handed on any consoles with 4 10s, a shop or two even said I was crazy and I should just wall it. No can do I use my backseat too much so I enlisted Vinny, now a friend to show me how to car audio. He's been doing car audio longer than I've been alive and it's a great honor to learn from the guy.

Y'all are the lucky forum, this was actually a really really SLOW build I go to school full time, and work full time. Vinny works full time and has kids. This is my latest build thread I'm doing and well y'all are lucky we're this far along to where I can dump pictures!

Appreciate it bud, I really love the lift. Truck goes offroad plenty never had a problem

At this point the console was still sealed, we thought we were not going to have enough airspace for ported:

We tested it like this and it sounded killer but deep down in my heart I wanted ported
