Here is the start of doing the doors... I decided I needed to drill holes for the wires so I might as well just take the doors completely off since it would make deadening much easier as well...
So a couple minutes later we had them off lol...

I set them up on the table to the deadening and drilling...

The adhesive they used for the dust cover was some nasty **** so I had to clean that off with paint thinner...

All cleaned up and ready to Deaden...

Re: BnR's Silver Serve Build (CRV)
After I got everything cleaned up I started deadening the doors and fabricating some sheet metal to seal the main holes up... The metal was from a filing cabinet that broke when I was moving a month ago so I took what I could from it...
Here is the pic of them cleaned up again so you can see a before and after...

And here they are almost done...

I did most of the inside of the door as well...

Re: BnR's Silver Serve Build (CRV)
Nicely done/props for working with the materials you have. Did you modify the plastic door panels? The CR-V I just did had some foam that would fill some of the factory cutouts. Tight spaces for sure.. keep up the good work

Thanks man... Ya I do have to cut the panels since in this body style the speakers sit in pods that are a part of the panels themselves and my diamonds are way to big to fit

Forgot to ask, are you keeping your table? I was so surprised to see a foldout table in the trunk, I think it is my favorite nuance of the CR-V. I wonder what you could do to trick it out? Full mahogany duplicate?
