    Re: 2000 Blazer Build

Finally felt like i got something acomplished for once lol

got rid of the P.O.S. bowtie

This took a good while, but i got them to work without having to cut my inner doors. gonna stretch fleece this week and get the other door mocked up along with the tweets.

doesnt look that great right now, trying to strengthen up where the plastic welds are with glass and resin. my last doors i did seperated there, and dont want that happening again.

Rounded the edges over on the door baffles, stretched some ponte and laid one coat of resin. Gonna test fit one final time this weekend and then start glassing.

    Test fit the doors

The right ring is the only one I might have to cut metal out to fit the mid. Shouldn't have to though if everything is how I planned.

3 light coats of rage gold body filler

Got a few spots I need to work
On, but for the most part they are surprisingly pretty smooth.

Still up in the air how exactly I want to cover them. I'd like to do some type of two-tone. So if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I'm clueless on what I should do.

So maybe the dark charcoal leather on the doors, then suede on the top part of the door that's removable?

Few people asked about the tweeter pods, so here are some pics of the other door after getting Everything lines up and glued in. I lay mat where the panel separates to strengthen it. Had a little resin left over and didn't wanna waste it hence the random spots of resin soaked mdf lol

Suede around the woofers and the controls, leather everywhere else?
