    Re: 2000 Blazer Build

in the process of selling a lot of extra stuff i got laying around to help fund some thing i need to get this thing half way finished.

ordered some 80 mil AT deadener last night, started today getting everything out so i could knock it out pretty quick.

Here is my problem, there is gonna be a wall in this thing in the future no doubt, that being said i dont want to waste a **** ton of deadener on the roof when i plan to put wood up when i wall. i would like to put some wood up, then the headliner back in for this build. just don't know the best way to do it

Sent my alts to mechman for them to be checked out and to get them swapped over to internally regulated so i could run the AVBM2. long story short they gave me the runaround and said that particular case could be internally regulated blah blah blah. then goes on to tell me they are 340amp alts. lol i called BS and told them to send me a vid of them clamping 340amps, they got my email and phone # and i haven't heard from them since. Not very happy with their CS honestly.

    Re: 2000 Blazer Build

Well not much of an update, but ive been selling a lot of stuff and messing with deadening. Here is my roof as we speak, I have 2 more pieces to put up and i will be done with the wood. Still have to foam a little more and I plan to deaden over the wood and between it.

This is some mean stuff, bonds practically anyhting to anything lol

Hell yeah I hope it works lol

How well did it help stop roof flex? Did you do anything besides wood on the roof?

    Re: 2000 Blazer Build

Been a really hectic week, Dad had a heart attack this past Monday morning. He only had a 50% blockage and they said the heart attack was likely due to stress. He is fine now and said he feels great. Makes you realize and cherish the time you get to spend with him. He will be off work for a few weeks ( drives a 18 wheeler cross country) so maybe i can run some wire and put in some alts pretty soon with his help.
Finally got some time to put in some work on the blazer and finish up the roof.

    wood is all in.

spray foam and deadener. AT FTMFW!!!

Headliner back in. should have done 1/2 wood as the headliner doesn't fit PERFECT. but for someone that doesn't know they wouldn't be able to really tell it.

plan on ordering some SHCA 2/0 OFC this week, along with speaker wire.

Started doing a few non car audio things yesterday. Installed LEDs in the plate lights, dome and courtesy light. Still gotta do the very back, I was 1 short on lights lol

FINALLY got these from toolmaker. Took forever but I love em. He had a hard time finding someone to anodize them

And lastly the best update of the night, a few ppl might know what this means

That's a Z right? I think they use the yellow spiders and the X's use the black ones? Maybe I got it backwards.
