I get 14V so far as I have not did the BIG 3 as yet but need to do some more testing I had that issue with my other ride....what i did temporarily was turn my headlights on in the day so the ELD would see a load an charge the batts at 14.4v+...I then got a adjustable voltage regulator and ALT from Excessive and had no issues since then.....
I ride around with my headlights on in the day to. After my Accord sputter (starving the fuel pump/cpu of electric maybe?) and looking to see the high 10s once, I turn them on alll the time now.
I tried the ELD bypass, but must have done something wrong...So I'll just keep running my lights until I buy something else.
+1 on being creative for the box. Looks like a pretty sweet setup. Very different for sure! Good job.
I had some wiring issues from the previous owner being an idiot about things, so I had to rewire my windows and buy new switches that I mount on my console. Looks pretty good, I like them better where they are now actually. sooo that trick doesnt work with me anymore.
Any idea what year civics came with ELD? I wouldnt mind owning a Civic, I just wont buy anything else with ELD. More trouble than its worth for guys like us.
ahh nice that is the Vtec version mine is non-vtec.....my is a EK3

If you want to keep the ELD on you need to drive over 65, have the head lights on , or the fan on 2 or higher. <3

Meet your ELD - Electrical Load Detector.... - Honda Civic Forum
There is a bypass for this that keep_hope_alive had done a write up on. But it wouldnt work for me in my 94 Accord sedan. I could have a bad relay or switch or something, I dont really know. (But I did use all brand new stuff from Parts Express)
