8 Obsidian Audio 18's in an Astro

The customer just bought a Sampson which is currently installed in the van. He said its just as loud if not louder than his previous setup (4th order with 6 15's doing a 155). The next step is to weld bracing to the roof and attach wood to it. His roof is cancelling out low frequencies at high volumes. Hopefully getting some hd video next weekend. But overall its an absolute beast.

sadly thats not that true any more lol well at least for 13 layer baltic russian birch audio fanatics did a test on it and i think it was just a few tenths lighter but i agree on strenth mdf is cheap as **** and damages easy birch may cheap small pieces but never cracks
