    2011 Sonata SE - MTX9500, Orion P6.2's and a false floor

    It's been awhile since I've been on here - actually its been about 5 years since I even had a subwoofer in a vehicle. I bought my Sonata a little over 2 years ago, since then of course I haven't been so much of a bass head you could say. But it's time for me to have a little bump again...

    What I have left over from my competing days:
    PA 3000DB
    PA 6004
    MTX 9512 Dual 4ohm
    (4) Orion P6.2's - only going to install 2
    Areoports

    I finally got some time this weekend to begin this project. So here's my idea, I am going to keep the stock headunit by putting an Audiocontrol LOC in. Get some KnuKonceptz wiring for the power/ground, build the box, build a false floor so I can still get to the spare tire, and get this done in 2 weekends, haha doubt it.

    Here is my mock up design.



    Headunit: Alpine 7995
    Electrical: Iraggi 260 and a bad battery
    Subs: (2) 12" MTX 9500's
    Subs amp: (2) PA A3000DB's
    Speakers: (4) Orion p6.2's and (2) 8" MTX 4500's
    Speaker amp: (1) PA A600-4HP
    Wiring: Knu Koncepts
    148.2 and going up

    149.5 - NEW Term Lab (4 12" MTX 7500's powered by 1 Orion 2500D @ 2ohms) - NEW SCORES TO COME!!!!

    After port/sub displacement, looking around 1.75 cubes ported @ 35hz. I have no idea how this sub is only .19 but whatever, not going to question MTX.

    .19 is enormous for a 12, still pretty big for even a 15

    Yeah .19 is a lot for a 12, but the sub fills up 1/3 of the box... That's why it boggles my mind.

    Resin inside. I just attached the top of the box and now need to resin the parts that weren't covered.


    Size of the sub next to a water jug. The port hasn't been cut to size yet.
