ok, so I built some tweeter pods
started with PVC caps. I determined that a 40 deg angle was desired from the apillars.
so i started with the cup
and drilled holes at a 40deg angle
and repeat
the threaded lamp rod gives a wire path also
and paint
and test fit

angle depends on where you want to aim. you can see the laser pointer. i use that to aim at the C-pillar. then the protractor told me the angle.
that depends on how on- or off-axis you want the tweeters
that depends on the tweeters themselves and if you want a one-seat or a two-seat sound stage.
for the jeep, we did a one-seat soundstage setup. as such, we could aim the tweeters at the C-pillars. keeps the tweeters mostly on-axis with the front seats for more volume and detail. T/A is required though.

husker77 thanked for this post

a few things i left out.
i twist wire with a drill. just insert the two ends in the drill, hold the other end, and activate drill. quickly twists wires.
the close cell foam is what holds the tweeter in the cup. tweeter is rotatable for the logo, and removable, with no adhesives or fasteners. and it is in there tight.
