Alpine CDA 117 installation 2009 civic

Not really worthy of a "build log" but it's something. Half way through I decided to take pictures so that's why their isn't much. Shoutout to @winkychevelle to hooking me up with this great hu. Thanks again man. They dash kit used is made my scosche. I do strongly recommend them, especially for newer cars. This dash is a PITA and they did a great job making everything fit perfectly. Came with everything to make it a very clean look. The cage that went the the CDA wasn't even used! Great stuff for sure.

This is the stock hu. I have already taken out the air conditioning vents, buttons, and the hazard button.

Here is all the components installed onto the new dash and the CDA is ready to be mounted:


And here's the final product. Looks fairly nice. New dash kit mactches the OEM dash color great.


Blurry has hell because I was driving. Meh.


Will be putting in new speakers soon.
