No, I wasn't referring to the Mille, your speakers are just fine.
I am referring to the work I did in the rear corner and rear quarter. Stupid lossy, that entire rear quarter. We put in a lot of work to eliminate that highly resonant part of the car. Any tC owner should do the same.
That tC is so well sealed, if you try to shut both doors at once, one pops back. It's cool.

I know that.. I put 2 layers of deadner on the rear quarters. Still flexes.

We did more than layers on the outside, we did several layers built up on opencell foam. The result is zero exterior flex. Since the interior layer is decoupled from the exterior.
Someone wanting SPL would want something similar, but not foam that flexes. The interior layer should be rigid. I would opt for several layers of fiberglass on top of the foam backing if I wanted SPL.

I like the sound and range of this box but i know this set up has a 50 in it, or at least close to it. I dont think this car likes subs up so Buck is drawing something up with subs and port back with about 18sq inches of port per cube. It may not be as accurate but we will see.

I would add more bracing to the box in the form of 2 dowels to connect the top piece to the bottom piece. You can never have too much bracing imo. If you want SPL you need rigidity, many people don't realize this.

Whatd it meter at? The downfall with the graphs is that they change so much in the car. Wiah there was a way outside of keep testing, that a program knew the car frequencies, that way the graphs will be spot on. If only it was a perfext world lol
