18" subs don't think so I like 12's always have. As for the wheels the chrome smoothies fit the era of the ride. I will be getting some new nicer ones though eventually

Thanks. I have had it since high school so about 14 years now. My kids love it so I can't to extreme but it will get loud when it is time to put it on the meter.
Re: Jokerswild 1972 AMC Hornet Wagon SPL build
Loud and metering well are 2 different things haha. but that is a cool looking car, should be sweet! Hope you're getting those seats reupholstered too? It's funny how just looking at the pic, I could tell it was in California, looked at your location and sure enough it is!

Actually the pic was taken in Louisiana at my last base. I moved to California last year. Yes the car is getting a full interior and exterior upgrade/restoration.
@lou isiana Crx there is no EQ if you are referring to the silver thing under the tray it is an 8 track player. Eventually it will be hooked up as well.

Re: Jokerswild 1972 AMC Hornet Wagon SPL build
In the next couple weeks I am going to get the Ballistic mat layed in the back, install some old school Pioneer speaker Pods in the rear, temporarily, and finally make an install kit for my headunit so it doesn't stick out so far. Shouldnt be to much work but it will make it look better. After that we are going to work from front to back. I will be making some factory replacememnt parts out of fiberglass to replace some of the plastic that has fallen apart.

That's an awesome rig. I've had 2 Rambler's in my driving life, both pieces of crap, but hella attention getters. Some custom kicks, with angled 6x9s would look sweet,IMO. Can use license it as a collector car? In Wa. it's 30years old to be a collector car and never have to buy tabs again.
Re: Jokerswild 1972 AMC Hornet Wagon SPL build
Well I got some progress done today. I ran the new Tsunami Power wire, installed some old school Pioneer TS TRX 40 pods in the back. They sound supprisingly good for how old they are. Also layed Ballistic mat in the hatch. I will post some pics and a vid soon.
