It isn't a music setup. It's just a fart box who burps one high note for a split second.

I don't think you understand how loud a 155 is.

The video says it took him 4 18s and 16,000w to to a mid 152. A 155 is another level compared to a 152.5-153. If you can touch a 150 playing music out of the trunk without running 4593454585983485w per speaker and not risking blowing up subs after 45 seconds, youre about as loud as anyone will be out of a trunk.

Yea, he has some stuff in there thats for sure. Is it setup corretly??? I dont know.
If a 150 on music is a realistic goal to set out of a trunk car, then a 150 is what i shall shoot for. Lots of upgrades to be made. Really need a danm alt man. But geez there are freakin high. excessive amperage - 300a=490
ohio generator - 475 for a 300a. Plus gotta have a few batts, new sub amp.

Tell u what ., let me meet up with davecub on CA, he has a meter then Gala I shall let u know how it looks on music.
My ears tell me its hitting pretty ******* hard. Screw the air movement and hair tricks, i just like my **** to be loud

I care nothing for a fart box. I to like some good screw music and some decaf.

I mean, whats some of the harder hitting trunk cars you guys have seen in the past?? True trunk, not backseat out and walled off, sealed offf from the trunk

I have seen some vids of thorshammer just wasnt sure what he was hitting on a burp.

Let me ask you guys a general question.

IS the biggert the cabin space the lower the resonant frequency, or is it higher??

Reason I ask is because the Cadillac has a bit more cabin space that a Honda Civic, so will i have more cabin gain with a larger cabin

    Re: 1997 Cadillac 4th Order Build w/videos

When it comes to just flexing and air movement, that Imapa with the 4 15s is one of the loudest trunks Ive heard. Ive heard Thorshammer's car, but it didnt play low and to the ear wasnt all that loud. For the amount of power it has, it only does like a 151-152, right? And to do so he beats the subs up so bad that hes tearing cones up. Thats not a music car.

My advice is dont worry about what number you do unless its designed to do a number to compete with. If its just a daily setup to listen to music, build it to play whatever music you want. I like low stuff. I heard a bunch about Decaf's stuff, so I tried it. Way too high. I had to slow it all down to get it to play the range I like. If you want, I can send you some of the stuff I did. Show you some low bass.

@gala, hellz yea man. Send me some of the stuff you reworked. Id love to hear it. And yes, daily bumping is the #1 goal, meter numbers should only compliment the system

The system seems to be loud to the ear, so does that mean it shall meter quite well?? I mean its not that low low fluttering bass, but its 30-40 range is great and u can feel the bass. 145-148ish i hope
