Pics of an amp on the floor, and an OEM headunit are not a build log! Need pics of amp installed and headunit installed. Pwetty pwetty pwease?!
Im actually looking at running one of my Lightning Audio S4.600's in it...that will give me all the power i need for this build...only problem if i run it ill most likely mount it in my rear storage pocket and have to mount it upside down but its a perfect fit then.......so i haven't decided...if i do run it i'll run the twin cooling fan option....here is a link to specs on this...
Lightning Audio Strike S4.600
is this the wrangler that you "never" bought?
I bought this Wrangler in 08 Brand new...I was gonna trade it in on a new Wrangler but decided to wait for the new Jeep Truck and keep my Wrangler...So now Im fixing her back up...hopefully with around 13,000 miles on the clock she'll last me a bit longer....
oh I thought it was the one you made a thread about
I had to go buy another $100 kit to try and hack the canbus...first one didn't do anything...I bought a diffrent brand this time...hopefully I'll have better luck...so I can install my Pioneer AVIC Z2 with Z3 upgrads and larger hard drive and uptodate maps....
2 days and you have the stock HU pulled and an amp sitting in the back with some tools next to it. Maybe this will be a change of pace for a build log and it'll actually get finished. I'm not expecting it, but it'd be a nice surprise.
i see rattle trap :)
That lightning audio amp is garbage, I was hoping it'd be the blue and grey strike or black and grey storm series. What's ur front-stage going to consist of? Is this going to have nice xovers or time alignment? I don't really see the sq in it. Nice ride though.
that is old school lightning audio true RF made like their big boy subwoofers....I was putting in the componets tofday...I ran old school Digital Designs 6.5 midbass in sealed enclousures on each end of the dash ..and Digital Designs T2 tweeters in modified factory tweeter pods...towards the A pillars...These are the same type tweeters as the Pioneer REV series...For now Im going through Digital Designs...individual passive crossovers and will be powered off the front chs of the lightning audio amp....Im gonna use deck power for rear fill and center 5.1 if it has deck power for that if not...Ill add a Clarion center ch. amp that I have....
