Re: Kangaroux's 99 Pathfinder
Before anyone asks, the wire used is 2/0 excelene and the terminals were purchased from VIP auto for like $10 and they work great. My only problem with them is the nut for the wires will fall out if you aren't careful. A quick solder job will solve this, though.

about to sig that part lulz
Re: Kangaroux's 99 Pathfinder
Dang Man, u guys up there in Maine got all the nice tools.
Here in Tennessee I would crimp that with a rock and something metal I would find laying around in my yard - no joking
Looks good but those, battery terminals look a little weak to me
Also the headunit install looks great - voltmeter is sweet.
What the hell do you have so many blanked off switches on that truck??? How many switches could the factory options possible have used?? There are what, like 8 unused switch blanks?
Anyway keep up the good work.
Re: Kangaroux's 99 Pathfinder
Looks like you got a lot done since I left yesterday haha. Lookin good so far.
Re: Kangaroux's 99 Pathfinder
Wish I could get so much work done in a day lol. Nice tools also wish I had those.

Right?! You and me both man. I use the back of an axe head haha. I was curious about the blanked switches as well... it'd be nice to make use of those one way or another. Bass knob or something...
Anyways, if your volt meter is anything like the same super cheap one me and Jesse got off fleabay, it's got a little screw on the back to calibrate it, to make that bad boy accurate!
Re: Kangaroux's 99 Pathfinder
The volt meter I bought doesn't have a screw it comes pre-calibrated. I compared it with my DMM and it was spot on.
This pathfinder is pretty bare bone when it comes to options. The 97 I had before this was fully loaded but even then all the switches weren't there. I don't know why there are so many, maybe it's just to make it easier in you decide to add something in?
Re: Kangaroux's 99 Pathfinder
Also, these terminals do not feel cheap at all. They are very inexpensive and real simple to work with.
Re: Kangaroux's 99 Pathfinder
I'm assuming most of those switches are to add off road lights or something. Ya know, to off road and find paths. Lololol
