+1 on AEM... that was the only intake I wanted for my scooby. theirs has straighteners for the MAF, the whole kit was extremely well-thought-out, fit was perfect (heatshield and such), and after the retune my butt dyno likes it a lot - builds boost ridiculously fast now. On my old hatch I had a CHEAP ebay intake - that didn't have a welded-on bracket thing for mounting so I had to fab one up in a janky manner. Ahh the days of cheap parts

yea i im getting the AEM short ram for sure. just trying to decide if i wanna get it before or after the system is putting in. maybe i should do it before i put the massive weight in the back huh? lol

More work put it.
pulled out all the rear trim pieces
then got out the simple green to clean up the hatch
gonna go over everything wit hthe simple green one more time before i put the deadner. also what fo you guys think? should i sand down the trim pieces and repaint them, because they look like utter chit right now, or should i just leave the trim off and cover everything with the deadner?
