whenever im faced with that question.....i say wall
if i can find a nice used top for it , or get the time i could build one then i would wall it . i would wall it but it would have to be a removable wall casue i bought it as a wheelwe/beater/daily the fullsize ford is a gas hog...i have only seen 1 walled samurai
if only you lived in iowa i could find you a hardtop easy.

my tintop is a monster in outlaw. thats what did the score in my avitar and it did it under the window line. we kind of messed around with a temp wall setup it was real bad on the meter.
we used a 15" aq and a z2 on 16volts in the wall. it only did a 147-148ish.now with 1 12" nightshade in 1.5cf with sundown 1500 it did a 152.4
with the same 12 and a 40.1 it did a 154+. here is the crazy part there was nothing done to my samurai at all and the rear wheel wells were rotted out real bad and it was winter so i stuffed the wells full of kitty hair and ground it off outside when it dried lol
now ive learned a few tricks for it.
oh and they are not good sealed on the dash its like 6db down from the outlaw score.
now if your planning something temp i would go with something small also it depends on if you are going to compete and a show or 2

If that thing is used like it "looks like" it gets used I would say NO WALL. Maybe a pair of 12's with good power bolted down really well. Then you are not worried about the wall smashing you when you get out there, and get a little crazy.
I would say to do a blow through on the white low rider in the back though![]()
If you don't wall at least make sure you bolt your box down or you'll really be sorry the first time you roll that thing
lol, you better put a 50 shot of nitrous on that engine if you want to make it thru an intersection after putting all that stuff in there.
wall... definate wall
also, is that an old school c body dropped in your second pic?

hahaha i bet all the people that say WALL never drove a samurai!
these things are gutless then you put bigger tires on it with stock carb wow you might hit 45mph haha
my samurai has TBI on it and runs great i had to drop in a 6.5-1 t-case just to get it up to 65-70 floored with just me in it on flat land with 33's. before that I might be able to hit 50-55 on flat land floored in 4th gear
