Re: My Old School Camaro RS build....
Big difference between a 327 and a 350. A 327 is a high revving little beast of a engine. Great for road racing. 350 is a little torquier (obviously with more displacement) and makes for a better stoplight to stoplight car.
Its like the difference between a 289 and a 351w.
Re: My Old School Camaro RS build....
as long as it gets me from point a to point b...I'm happy...I'll try to remember to ask my mechanic and see whats in it...I know my 79 Z/28 has a 350

Custom build the stuff yourself. You'll save a shitton of money. A set of autometer gauges and bezel all built up for my car is 1100 dolalrs. I paid 300 for my gauges and i only took a few hours of work to modify everything.

I wish I could find some sorta adapter rings for my 80 Trans AM The holes are a little too big for standard gauges
Re: My Old School Camaro RS build....
Do what I did, if you loo kthe holes are much bigger than the 3 3/8 speedo/tach I used. I just bought some 1/8th abs plastic off ebay and milled them with a dremel to make them fit. Looks great and it was easy/cheap
