is that total power to the subwoofer I guess, rated at 4ohms? If i had 10 amplifiers all with a power rating of 6 watts @ 4ohm I would be in the same class? Power to highs and mids do not count right?

Wow ... This comming from a caraudio.com veteran with over 4000 post ...
ok bro ... here it goes ....
    USACI super stock 0 - 600 rules ...
1 amp with a 4 ohm rating at 600 watts and under, sub enclosure behind the b pillar and below the glass. 2 batteries max and nothing over 14.7 volts.
Most competitors in this class has no mids and highs .... spl run, no music, using test tones.

Thanks, man. I was pretty sure I was gonna get killed so I was really pleased with a 2nd and only 1 tenth off of the world record!

You can have highs amps and stuff but the only amp that counts is the one used on the sub stage. CableGuy is right about the rules. 1 amp. 2 batts. 14.7v max. Box below window line and behind b-pillar. They use the published manufacturer 4 ohm rating of the amp you are using. i.e.- AQ2200 = 500w @ 4 ohms.

Re: TaylorFade's run at USACi World Finals.

So to answer your question... no, you can't have 10 amps rated @ 60w. I got hung up on the Cactus pf600 for a while because it was 600w@4 ohms and my D5 is only 500w@4. Lol. I was like, "it has to make more power!" Lmao.

It really wouldn't help you to have more than one amp in that class anyway because there are no 200-300 watt amps that can compete with the Cactus or D5's. Maybe if you got like 12 of the old school Orion 225's. Lol. That would be awesome. Roll up with (12) "50w" amps in stock 0-600w. That would dessimate all. Of course, you would need 12 D1 or even D.5 subs to make that work. 2 12v batts might not be able to keep up with 12 class AB amps though. Lol.

We had to pull our mids/highs amp because of the total number of amps in that class. ( in our SPL vehicle)

Super stock = ~ another $2k. Lol. 18v and like 4 more batts. Yikes. The super stock 0-600 guys were 3 db+ louder than I.

That's f'n lame. I've never heard that. I run my daily in stock 0-6 all the time and it has a highs amp. Was it forward of the b pillar?

Is it only 3? Hmm, I thought they could have 4 or 6. I dunno, but 3db is a big *** jump from 12v to 18v. I think the guy who won SS 0-6 did a 61 and change.

Wow. Getting crushed by only one more batt and 6 more volts. That's depressing. Lol.
