Anyone know of a good amp to power one eclipse twelve.

So i have finally decided what will be happening.... I will be putting two of those fiberglass tubes in my car the one in the picture with the skull on the back. The two tubes will be painted black. I am putting two eclipse sw8200 subs in them. Heres the catch currently i have a hifonics zxi6006 amp and i was planning to use two of these amps to power the subs and i cannot seem to find another amp. So i am trying to find out what would be a good match for the subs. The guy that had these in his car before me told me that he ran a JL 500/1 for just one of them. So i was thinking of running two of the amps or possibly just one JL 1000/1. If anyone knows where a zxi6006 is let me know. Also i would like to know what everyone thinks of the sub box/ tube made from fiberglass.

I am going to hook a Sundown SAZ 1000D to these subs. I was wondering if it is possible to wire this to 1 ohm. If so could someone show me a wiring diagram? If not could someone show me the best way to wire two eclipse sw8200 subs to this amp to get the most power

building a sealed box tonight just traded my sundown saz 1000d for a rockford t2000.1bd

Powering the amp... Will a optima yellow top be enough? and i am sending my old alternator in to be rebuilt for more power.

I would do the yellow top up front, but need to do another battery in back, I am selling one if interested......Check the classifieds.

If not, at least do the big3 and use 0/1g wire......again check the classifieds.

Those Rockford amps take a lot of power to be efficent. IMO, I would have kept the Sundown, but that is just me.

The rockford is a lot louder than the sundown. My dad is a mechanic and i can get yellow tops through him for a good price so i will do that. I was planning on the alt and the big three. Will i still need a second battery then?

What kind of battery are you running? and do you have any idea of the amperage your current alt actually puts out?

Right now i just have the normal anybody cheepo battery. I was planning on putting a yellow top under the hood do you think i would need another optima? i plan to do the big three and redo my alt. My dad knows someone who rebuilds them he said they could probably get about 50 more amps out of it
