Box Build: 8 cu ft @ 35hz, 18" Fi BTL

This is a box build for a local guy here.

Box is 8 cubic feet, 35hz, double baffle (although no flush mount as requested), big *** dowel rod for extra bracing.

Driver will be an 18" Fi BTL. This is all going into a ford explorer (lol, gonna be LOUD)

Yeah the first thing that popped into my head was, wow thats big. But I dont have any experience with an 18" BTL either.

because thats how i wanted i i had the room to spare so why not? and plus Fi's recommendations are 5-8ft^3.

Just waiting for the filler on the screw holes to dry, then one last sand, and paint goes on.

I just wish it was a bit warmer out. I have a feeling the paint is gonna take a while to dry in my non-heated garage.

good question. He just wanted 8cu ft @ 35-ish hz.

Seeing as its going in an explorer, im hoping he wanted strong output in the mid-high 30's, because thats what he's gonna get, lol.
