    4 Assassin 8's Build

Alright here is a little log Im starting for my next substage and will most likely get new components in about a week.
Going to be pushed by my o2 OAD 2200.1 @ 1ohm about 1600rms so each woofer will c about 400rms
DOnt have subs yet Florida to Cali shipping ftl
pics of subs in this thread
    http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/f...ad.php?t=18241
here is the design for the subs:

after all displacement its about 2.8ft^3 @ a nasty 26hz-35hz.... easily change tuning
I call it the BONER BOX! lol

only have a few pics but all pieces are cut baffle cutout done except for top. Port is glue n right now as I type!

    port cutouts

    Fits like a glove!

gluing the 4" risers/small pieces for port in order to connect the 90's and have the correct amount of depth
    gorilla glue FTW!

This right here will have the box around 3ft^3 @ 35hz.... i can add pre-cut pieces to the elbows through the cutouts and drop the tunning all the way down to 26hz!

Front baffle still needs to be cutout and flush trimmed. will do tom.

    back is on

skipped a shat load of steps lol

stay tuned for more pics, vids etc. yes i will have vids this time around once i finish up!

right.... its 25.12 sq inches of port.
its actually the perfect amount bro. a round port needs about half the port area as a slot port so about 6-9sq inches of port per cube using round ports. Thats about 8.37in^2 ofport per cube in this box.

the flare on the end of an aero port compared to a straight round port is of the most minimal effect. yes with a flared aero the port will be longer to achieve the same tuning as a straight aero but by only the most minimal amount
