indeed the flare does help which im not arguing against bro. But as the port is round and not square makes the air easier to escape the box compared to a square or rectangular shape. u get what im saying? Im sure you do, but simply because there is no flare does not mean that one should have the same amount of port area as a SA slot port. need i say more?
a round port has a minimal at best efficiency advantage over slot. no where near needing half the SA.
i do not in any way get what you are saying. it has everything to do with air entering and exiting the port repeatedly.
i guess you could say more if you would like, or you could just agree with me on this highly discussed topic about the basic laws of physics.

Nice box. Hope to get my 10's box redone this winter. Still workin on a new enclosure for it.

The flares lower port velocity, which is how you can get away with less port area when using flared round ports, or true aero ports/precision ports.
