people always hate on the chevy engine in a porsche...but if it makes it faster, more reliable, and cheaper to fix I see why not.

I knew a guy with a 350 in a 944, and it was wayyyy faster than stock. I just haven't seen too many 911's getting swapped out. But to each their own. Nice car

thanks...I really love the vintage Porsche 911's and decided to make it faster and more reliable as you stated...I'm happy with it so thats what counts....I'm not happy with the system so I plan on making it better

Because there's something about the air cooled boxer configuration that's quintessentially Porsche? It'd be a bit like a Harley owner swapping out his noisy, inefficient, heavy V-twin for an inline 4 out of a crotch rocket.

Those v6's are beastly, what turbo are you running?
