alright almost done






beauty panel time :p it will have the Mazda raised logo when the carpet is wrapped.... i still have to cut it out and do sum nice texture and round-over work on the whole box aswell as cut out the port hole, flush trim it then roun-dover. Also need to paint the port area with black paint and the oval area with red paint. not much left to do







got some done in 10 minutes before work today

im really not that expensive! i always do something free of charge on a build. like the Mazda sign.... did that for free

And it wasn't expensive at all. Don was nice enough to come down to my house (about 20 min drive), measure out everything. He offered to do a box without the beauty panel, carpeted, and looking nice for 65 bucks but i didnt accept it cuz i thought i was ripping him off, haha. Very pleased with his work and easy guy to work with.

Dunno if it was brought up before but is that 4" enough? Im trying to figure out a 0.8 cube box tuned to 33 hz for a true bass ultra 8" and i was considering using a 4" for that. Also nice curve, completely forgot you can get curved peices at the hardware store lol, talk about a life saver

one 4" port is more than enough. about 6inches is needed( aero port) per 1ft^3.

so ~12.5" of area is more than enough

and the elbows are very expensive!

I will, i just have to add a terminal and fix the paint (i messed it up cuz it was still fresh and touched it lol)

Probably by the end of the week i'll have it installed.
