Little update to my Blazer....
Original build log here.... http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=341993
So I moved to New Hampshire back in April, had to get rid of the 4 MA Audio 8's so I could fit all my crap for the move. Found these 8" HX2's on Craigslist a couple months ago for $20  Was running them in a tiny sealed box off the rear channels of my 4 channel amp (seeing maybe 150w each, lol).
So I decided to wake them up today......
The old setup

Nice equipment.
You should really think about carpeting the box, though...
Re: Little update to my Blazer....
so the new rp 8's sound better than the 4 MA Audois you had prior?
Re: Little update to my Blazer....
I love the old fosgates always got pretty loud for what they were. Never very expensive either.
Re: Little update to my Blazer....
Nice pickup on the HX2's I just let go of my 15 cuz it was taking up too much room, wish I could find 2 of those 8's.
Re: Little update to my Blazer....
i have two tens...awesome subs...
Re: Little update to my Blazer....
thanks guys, they are great for their size...
The 4 MA Audio 8's were great too, but a different kind (if that makes sense).... The HX2's can take gobs of power and sound awesome ported, where as the MA's where sealed and got loud but were much more punchy and less boomy, guess it would just depend on what you want...
