i went and upgraded the system in my daily driver civic

went from this.

took all that out

ran some 1/0 and started charging 2 of these old guys

then started cutting for the box.


made this

can see some of the 45's in this one

screws and glue

got it all together and slapped some resin on it. test fitting it.

made some front fillers.


started a battery tray

painted some of it.


then all of it back in the car.

only 2 are for my personal use.

also got a new head unit, as my old one died about 30 minutes after firing these beast up

i did both, i sometimes get some water in the trunk and didn't want the mdf to see any of it.

Omg Civic Si. I'm trying to get my hands on a nice clean "unmolested" one. I'll make sure to take this one off my list now J/k though, it looks great. I'm a little confused why all the trunk material is gone. I know alot of autocrossers take out that stuff like the spare tire and all the stuff around it to save weight. If you did that, it's a little contradicting putting 300 lbs of stereo in the car isn't it?
