im bout to redo my door pods for my idq8d4's. originally i had seas ca22rex 8's in there and they have a smaller diameter motor on them than the idq8's so one of them does not fit. i am going to try and make them shallower than they currently are as well, so im doing that within the next 3 days. i just bought some supplies. ill prolly lay the first layer of glass tonight and let it cure over night. ill have pics for your motivation.

    love you snookums.

Re: Bang's first Fiberglassing Journey. '94 Civic Hatch

I was on the road with a freakshow circus. It was a late sunday night and we were all closing shop. I had been sick all day long and didn't want to show my normal talents of glass eating. Eleven PM rolls around and i have my late night dinner usually consisting of Spam and uncooked potatos. The bearded woman comes over and deeply grunts, "You feel it yet?" I relpied nervously, "um no, what do you mean?" She laughs, flexes her biceps and walks away. All of a sudden i scream a loud bear yelp and everyone runs to find out what is going on. The bearded lady screams "IT'S TIME, GATHER ROUND!" I get basically gang banged, hog tied and hung from the tent completely naked. The penguin man crams a handfull of toothpicks up my colon and all of a sudden another life force of strength is ejected from my ***. It was like i had a child. **** just pouring out of me i had no idea how do react. Either it was from the pain of getting stabbed with a handful of toothpicks. Or that my body was being completely drained. Either way i was hard as a rock.

****in ahh I think Im driving out to Cali, if this is your first time fiberglassing I cant wait for your 2nd time. The OEM texture isnt to big of a deal.

I love my sub stage but I really need more fronts for music, since I got the 2 15s it kinda overloads the speakers haha

It just looks like it in the pics.

I just plain-o primered and painted. However, you can buy some textured paint to try and match the OEM texture.
