A kerfed t-line? ugh, this is gonna take forever...

    The design... 8ft long

    The sub... Sundown e8

    Jig laid out...

    Jig cut out...

Test piece... i think it should work out nicely... but holy crap cutting all these kerfs is gonna take for-freakin-ever...

I love when i don't have to measure stuff

Turns out the test piece provided some useful shims

    belt sander skills, ya digg?

    dry fit

wood glue + saw dust = wood filler

    smeared around

clamped to hell, so far so good

looks like it held its shape pretty well

this piece was definitely the hardest piece, had to rig up a table since the piece was 5'6"

all glued together and clamped to hell, i wish i had more clamps though

Transmission lines end up being very boring for a video.

Should do this with a CNC:

can have much flatter response, and has more damping across the freq range.
doesn't unload like crazy below tuning, etc.

and this box will be nice for sure, almost deserves a 8W7.

I didnt mean whats the point in a Tline, I was asking what the point of kerfing the whole thing was.

Hey, if youre just doing it for the hell of it, just to do it, more power to you.
