the first pods that you see in pic 1, the fleece wrap was directly attached to the door panel with plastic epoxy, unremovable.
so after the first couple days or week or whatever, with opening and closing of the doors the passenger side started giving out a lil, and was leaking out the bottom and sides and sounded like ****.
the the drivers side started doing it.

so i learned my lesson ftl

Not bad, If it were me. I would have removed that entire factory grill section and rebuilt that. I bet with a little bit of effort, you could have gotten a factory look and still had mids and tweets out the ying yang in each door. Your pods look out of place. Half the battle is making it look like you did nothing

they are mpyre 65m mid's. they are 7"s

attach pods to the panel with deck screws through the panel with a piece of wood on the back of the door panel for the screw to grip/drive into, much more secure than just driving screws into just the plastic of the door panel

both bases are done and trimmed and super strong/stiff. didnt work on the build today.
tomorrow making the rings for the mids and spandex wrapping the pods. then resinnnnnnnn
