Build for 07 F150 SuperCrew
Yesterday, I upgraded my system wiring from 2 runs of 8ga to 1 run of 1/0 to the back wall of my truck. Previously I had my amps in various locations throughout the truck but not on my back wall so I decided to take a couple of days to get this right.
What the system consists of:
Alpine 9856 HU
Audio Control EQX Xover
JL Audio G2250 amp running
Pioneer Premier PRS720 components
JL Audio cxi570 coax for rear doors running off HU
Phoenix Gold Xenon x600.1 amp on a
Digital Designs 1010 sub
New Knu Koncepts RCAs, power/ground wire, distro blocks, etc

Re: Build for 07 F150 SuperCrew
The amp rack build was a little challening because on the back wall, there is the rear window motor mounted, as well as the middle seat belt bracket. So getting all of this shiit to fit really gave me a case of the runs.
Amp rack with cut out for motor. 1/4" brich carpeted

Re: Build for 07 F150 SuperCrew
I might need to tighten up the wiring a little bit or perhaps cover the whole back with another piece of 1/4" birch or whatever so the amps sit flush. Anyways, here are pics of my first box build for the DD10. It's a little too big and sticks out from under the seat a little more than I wanted. My plans are to build a new one this week.

Re: Build for 07 F150 SuperCrew
On building the box or any box for this truck, theres an issue with a seat moung bracket for the 60/40 split seat that you have to build around. It *****, and keeps the box from coming out as pretty. Also, with very little room to put a box there, you have to take up as much room as the truck will allow. With that, there are lot's of angles and turns involved with building this thing. As of right now I'm not sure if I want to stick with the DD, go with (2) 10's sealed, (4) 8's, or maybe a couple of them slim fit 10's or 12's. What do you guys think would have greater output?
Here are pics of the room I have available and the seat brackets. Sorry for the trashy carpet, I was in the middle of removing the old wiring and snapped some photos.

Thanks. I'm not sure what I want to do. I was looking at the new RE Audio 8's today and I kind of like them. I wish I had grabbed 4 of them Sundown E8's last month off here, but o well.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
tk5075- The box is 51"w x 5 3/4"h Top panel is 12"deep and slopes down to the bottom panel which is 19" deep front to back. Also, as you can see in the pics, it's got an extra 2 1/4" box under the sub opening for xtra depth for a total of 8" in height up front. It has feet around the bottom at 2 1/4". The thing is, the box sticks out from under the seat more than I wanted it to. Instead of building the top baffle 12" out, then sloping down, I should have started the slope from the front of the box instead. That's what is keeping it from going all the way in. The port is 4x4.25 and zig zags for 23" in lenth and cuts off at the notch. This was my first enclosure build and believe me, I learned a lot from my mistakes. Halfway through it, I knew I had ****ed up but finished it anyway. . It sticks out like 4 inches total from the front of the seat. I now know what I need to do to make it right. Anyways, if you still want to buy it, make an offer.
