Little update

Both alts are in now- going to pull out A/C pump n put another 300 amp alt in- for a total of 2 300 amp & 1 200 amp.

Voltage now drops to 13.7 w the 3 batcap 2000s now.

A few more batts, the alt, some interior wall work- and another 7k outta get me knockin on the 160 door :)

Currently doing a 54. In a perfect world, doulbling the power is supposed to give you another 3db. Realisticly, if you get a 2.5 gain, consider it a success.
I don't know how many batteries he has but if he doubles the power then the batteries also need to be doubled.
Now, this design is up to a 56.5 - 57. Where is the other 3 db coming from?
Also, in an Astro, the port on the driver's side is the loudest.

I think he said approaching a 160 as in burp, not as in street beat/ bass race. I understand what you are saying, just wanted you to spell it out for uniformed people;)

He did a 154.4 off of 3500 watts or so. It is a Stetsom 7k, but I am sure you know about rise Mr. Slate. So figuring he straps another 7k he should, ideally be doing a 156 or higher...... If he wires down the amps like I suggested, than he should see more..... You know you could add suggestions, and not be so pessimistic;)
