so I finally got around to carpeting the beauty panel, and what a pain in the *** it was by myself... contact cement applied with a brush FTL... next time i will break out the comp and air gun and have at it, just didnt wana drive to go do it today.... I also added buss bars on the 6 batts that i could, to try and get rid of some of the un needed resistance, trying to tighten up where i can.
I have 2 more batts begind the 6 that I couldnt put buss bars on so Im going to run double 0ga pos and neg to try and make up for that fact. in the next couple days Im re doing all the ground in my car. eventually i want to run 2 power and 2 grounds from the front, i have to make new runs as they are short at the moment...

Followed this build back when it was a pretty big deal. I agree w/the 30.1's though. Now that they're nice & broken in.. rough 'em up a little.

since last post have gone and installed a Dc power 270 XP alt. planning on runnin new power ground runs, I have one spool of hyper flex and another on the way, have also upgraded my rca cables, and decided to go with stinger pro series 3 rca cables.


also adding another battery, 1 of 2 to come



I have also since rewired my subs, instead of running the amps straped, (were getting way too hot, very ineffecient), ive split them up one per at .7 and has made a huge difference, have even gotten louder

at a local show i came mout the hole with a 153.5 but lost it after 15 secs... and ended with a 152.7, so now Im on a quest to bass race a 53 plus the 30 secs.
