Here's Dave's response:
2006 Susuki Hayabusa. Big bore 1400 cc, JE-hi-compression pistons; Tool steel pins. S/S valves. Twin Intake cams. HD starter pins. 125psi Oil pump. 60lb Valve springs. Tranny Undercut by 'Fast by Gast' in New York. 60lb clutch springs. O/S battery- valve springs; Hi-comp make it hard to turn over. 3"lowered. 6"
extended. NOS system. 2.5 lb NOS bottle. 11,000lb Drag chain (48 tooth rear).
Strapped front. ALL new bearings Rod; crank. Loosened the rod bearings up by ONE color because of the high pressure oil pump & valve. Power Commander. FAST!
Next will be a progressive NOS controller, Wet system. 95lb Injectors; upgraded fuel system. 22,000 kms. 200+ 1/4 mile runs AND Nitrous. Took it apart and put the big-bore in in September 08 and the ORIGINAL STOCK Suzuki clutch was still in great shape- put it back in! LOL still haven't used the spare. NEVER slip the clutch - dump it!!!!!!
Matter of fact - still has the ORIGINAL front brake pads! Shows how much I use the engine to slow down eh! Rotors are blue tho from bringing her down at the end of the 1/4 mile drag LOL.
Sorry, you won't catch me on that thing![]()
