sx has a pretty low QTS hopefully it sounds good

i dont support bashing of others work.

but he has done multiple boxes for others and has respect from others on here so i trust the design.

well as long as he has reputable work Im sure the design isnt flawed. Ive never worked with sx's but as long as your happy with the performance, thats all that matters

i know, i just don't wanna anyhting started. as far as SQ of the box goes that isn't the real ?. its my woodworking skills. so even if the box does have a design flaw it impossible to place the blame on the designer.

A design flaw is a flaw caused by the designer/engineer. A Flaw in the craftsmanship would be your fault.

dam didnt edit it in time. i retracted that statement. basically saying that if the box sounds like *****, it'll be hard to say its a flaw in the design and not my woodworking skills.

t-lines usually need a taper in them... for some reason everyone has been building them with a compression chamber and no taper lately

ya basically, was there inconsistent port width?
That could be a problem, it was very difficult to tell by the pic with the tape measure

holding the camara with one hand and the tape measure with the other. its about 1/16 or less of a differance.

proper t-lines should have a taper from the driver to port usually 1.25-2 times driver sd at the driver end of the port tapered down to the driver sd at the port exit like so:

i've done straight TL's myself and they usually turn out fine once you stuff them. you just need to play with the stuffing till it sounds smooth
