    You have inspired me to do the same thing in my friend's 2004 Ford F-150 extended cab. He use a RE sr10 instead of the l7 and will be feeding it about 300 watts. I know he is going to be very impressed with it. That for all the motivation brother.

    Okay, 8" Kicker l7 in a sealed box did a 144 on the TL? There's no way that was sealed up on the dash.

    Are you saying the mic was on the floorboard in front of the sub or something?
