yeah since it is snowing out i have to work in my garage and it is full of mdf dust and my parents are getting upset haha. But thanks for the compliment

Ok i decided not to go With plexi on my box because it is like $50. But this box is 4 cubes tunued to 33hz after displacement for 2 12inch re se's. It has a 6 inch double flared port.














thats all i got right now but more later today

How are you going to implement the plexi? You cutting the wood out and using the plexi or something?

let me see if i can explain my question well enough. ok, so where the "kerf" is that you showed in the above picture, there will a space between that wood and the outter wall wood. does this ever vibrate and or flex too much or is it pretty much strong enough as is?

You kerf by cutting strategic lines that don't go all the way through the wood evenly spaced at certain intervals to allow the wood to bend at those points. People usually glue in between the kerf cuts after they glue it to the box... some use wood filler in between, and some use fiberglass resin to make it sturdy.
And, as far as flexing.. the structure of a circle is stronger than a square. Thus, if done right, a kerfed curve will not flex.

i decided not to use the plexi on the box the other drawing was one i had wanted to do in the first place but since the plexi was 50 shipped i decided not to
